 During the [[event:Second Great War]], things become a lot darker and it had to step up its lying and hiding skills to keep itself safe. This only became harder because they came to care of a Romani kid they found hiding from the Blackcaps.  It kept quiet as it watched students disappear from class, and stayed strong and feigned loyalty to the current regime while harboring contempt for them. They managed to hide the kid until he was reunited with their family.
