-There's really no such thing as π radiation. the thing does not give a specific energy type. A lot of people try to use different kinds of energy measurements to detect what the zones are doing, but there's not an energy  type related to them. Instead they seem to make different signals go haywire for no apparent reason
-Things don't glow but sometimes seem to be brighter or darker than they should; there's not a specific sound, but existing ones are muted, heightened, or distorted; things are not hotter or colder: it can be either, in adjacent points.
-Machinery that depends on precise measurements doesn't work well: from compasses to radios, you can get weird readings, and they are weirder and weirder the deeper that you go.
-And in the deep zone, the ruins of Nuskom… there are legends of many things. But one in particular is well known: water that floats will kill you in contact.
