 In the meanwhile, the very scared horses pulling from the carriage stampede through the fort entrance, and Maelle jumps to attempt to calm them.  At this point, the elder Ariyadna reaches the fort and starts punching lizards on the sky so they explode.  +Not being able to bear it, Clark runs away to the room where they have been resting in the fort and blocks the door. Maelle follows them, though, and tries to help, but Clark can barely handle anything at the moment and instead asks them to bring them his hat.

 +Maelle finds the hat in Gaia's possesion, and they both come back and have a heart-to-heart with Clark, who is scared shitless of losing themself to the transformation. Maelle manages to provide some support and convince them that maybe if they don't feel wrong in that state, they can live with it. Gaia helps by making a cute drawing of the fox-like clark.
