Another car reaches up to Claire, and she joins [[npc:Ferret]] and [[npc:Iorena Sevel]] who were going to the party themselves. Iorena explains that the paparazzi have been bothering them quite a bit too; apparently it's one of the tabloids owned by [[npc:Antoine Motyl]] that are digging up as much dirt as they can in Iorena to discredit the political coalition to which she belongs. Another car reaches up to Claire, and she joins [[npc:Ferret]] and [[npc:Iorena Sevel]] who were going to the party themselves. -The birthday party continues with slices of cake and merriment, and finally a small core of the attendees go inside to open gifts in private. The last to be opened is a couple of beautiful wooden boxes containing white eggs, that Riung explains are actually full libraries with as much free information she has been able to scrounge around regarding the kind of beings that have been known to be patrons for dreamwalkers, as AMANDA and the Renegade seem to have become.+The birthday party continues with slices of cake and merriment, but it reaches a point when Claire and Maelle are too overstimulated by the situation and they find each other taking a breath outside. The chat turns serious, with Maelle talking about some details of her backstory, including her not knowing what happened to Marine. They also compare fathers, which is mostly sad.

+  * //Iorena got another thing made for both Gaia and Maelle: small plaques that says "you survived and he didn't" made from the knife she used to shank Vituska.//
+  * **Maelle**: I will hang this on my wall, Iorena. Thank you so much.
 +
+  * **Riung**: As budding dreamwalkers, I thought that you needed to know many things that your people don't. so I put into these as much knowledge and stories as i could find regarding both //zuní// and //hyuní//, as the ones that have chosen to be your patrons.
 +
+  * **Maelle**: It's not gonna have any dangerous implications then? Don't want anything happening to me.
+  * **Riung**: Maelle Kurimoto, you are trying to learn how to make use of a subtle machine older than our sun, by the memory of a being that is loathed by its creators, and that is capable of killing people with a thought. everything you do from here on has dangerous implications.
 +  * **Maelle**: Shit.
 +
+  * **Gaia**: Oh, Riung, by the way, have you heard of the Puppeteer?
+  * **Puppeteer**: (suddenly in the room, laughing the fakest laugh ever) Ha-haaaaa, when did the natives hear of me, lil'Riung?
 +
+  * **Puppeteer**: You were asking about me. Which raises many, many questions. As in, how do you know my name?
+  * **Gaia**: (bullshitting like mad) I heard it from Vitsuka [sic].
 +
+  * **Puppeteer**: Where is this Vituska person now, then? I might have //questions// for them.
+  * **Maelle**: In the graveyard, I assume? He died.
 +  * **Puppeteer**: Hmmmmmmmm… Okay! (vanishes)
 +
+  * **Gaia**: I'm so sorry Riung, I had no idea that would happen.
+  * **Riung**: (barely shaking) Apology accepted, you clearly did not know. But I believe that it would be prudent for me to leave… and for you to not raise the attention of certain people.
+  * **Maelle**: Who was that?
+  * **Riung**: That is a man who can decide our deaths on a whim.

+The day after the birthday party, several of Motyl's publications roasted it by either weaving a conspiracy theory where Iorena was leading Umichooan diplomats to conspire with deviants, they were exposing a number of children (that are not even biologically theirs) to "undue and deleterious influences", and many other such fun "alternative facts".
