he carries an old medical purse containing all the tool for some emergency operation, including a saw and chloroform

======Story======

He grew up in Lewiston Maine in the 1880 and studied in medicine the Miskatonic university where he got
doctorate, he then decided to volunteer with the red cross for the added experience and went into the Congo 
to vaccinate the local population, he ended up being forced to come back to the US after insulting the
local authority over the treatment of the local population.

In the us he started working as a doctor where he 
made a lot of money, he then decide to  use that money to travel in the south of the us to provide free 
healthcare for the most poorest people in those region, usually in black neighborhood.

In there he met a group of detective investigating the murder of a black men that the police had ignored for years and decided to join them where together they uncover the corruption of the police chief that was part of the klans who murdered the man.

After that investigation he decided to close his main office to focus entirely in helping the poor and working for
that detective agency.

While working for them, he ended up encountering truly bizarre stuff, thing beyond normal, he nearly got eaten 
and digested by a house, talked with head in a jar, escape and fought mutated dog in a cave and fought some abomination
that the klans had summoned.

His last investigation ended up in disaster tho, as he was swollen by a tower of non-euclidien proportion and spit back
much later, at the time where his friend where dead, if not from some monster then by the passage of time, he then spend
a decade readjusting from this new time, with his doctorate now invalid, and the rest of his stuff sold as he was declare dead, he decided that he needed to make some money again and so restarted an investigation business taking any job that is offered
