======Zone======

The areas around the places where a [[thing: Bomb|Π Bomb]] was detonated.

In order of their creation, they are:

|[[place:nuskom|Nuskom]]|Created by [[place:rigasia|Rigasia]] as a military target|
|[[place:alzarte|Alzarte]]|Created by [[place:rigasia|Rigasia]] as a military target|
|[[place:pacific_zone|Pacific Zone]]|Created by [[place:zhongguo|Zhongguo]] to test their own bomb|

The zones created by the Rigasian Confederacy are walled and occupied by their [[org:rigasian_army|army]] (in the case of Nuskom and Alzarte with the help of local military contingents) that do not allow passage to anyone unauthorized.

======Inside the Zones======

Zones are fundamentally a region of slightly bent space as a result of a [[thing:portal|rift]] opened between timelines, meaning that any kind of physical phenomena can become more erratic the deeper you go.

Things don't glow but sometimes seem to be brighter or darker than they should; there's not a specific sound, but existing ones are muted, heightened, or distorted; things are not hotter or colder: it can be either, in adjacent points.

Machinery that depends on precise measurements doesn't work well: from compasses to radios, you can get weird readings, and they are weirder and weirder the deeper that you go.

And in the deep zones… there are legends of many things. But one in particular is well known: [[thing:floating_water|water that floats]] will kill you in contact.
