Yea, this is what China calls itself. Since around the 8th century, apparently.

The second superpower in the [[place:rigasia|Rigasian]] Timeline. Similarly to our timeline they went through a series of popular revolutions that ended with a total change of their government system, but things are quite different otherwise.

Since what in our world became the USSR fragmented before even getting started, and Zhongguo was in a slightly better start position, they ended becoming the superpower that leads the half of the world that Rigasia doesn't.

In [[session:3|Session 3]] it was announced that they had managed to build their own working version of the [[thing:bomb|Bomb]].
