Captain Zomajen is the leader of a tank-riding squad of the Rigasian Army active during the Rigasia/Kesizma War.
He's a black man partially fluent in a Mandé language (possibly Maninka) that's at least vaguely mutually intelligible with what's spoken in the version of Mali under Kesizma's domain, so he's there trying to find a way to reach the original Kesizman timeline.
