This is an old revision of the document!
First Draft
The basic story for Clockmaker has been written up for decades, an there have been a lot of attempts to bring it to life in one way or another. This page details some of the funny stuff that was in the old drafts.
Fun fact: because of the way timelines work, the timeline where this happens exists somewhere.
The Party
The original party has become different flavors of NPCs in the current campaign, and it included:
Johann Levine, who was the original kid Iorena was trying to help and worked in the Hunter Guild with Ferret. He had huge anger issues, despised Rigasia with a passion, and liked swords. He was worryingly close to Vituska, but in the original draft he got backstabbed and survived whereas in the current version he was not that lucky.
Cygne, an amnesiac young woman with an ice gift that tried to run from the Paranormal Foundation, and ended getting help from a kind old dude named Vituska. Got backstabbed by him but did not survive. Eventually revealed to be a dream. Not a dreamwalker, a dream. We did it a decade before Final Fantasy X.
Fulan ibn Fulan, which was your stereotypical cool dude character, and the party sniper. Originally got pulled in the bullshit by Ariyadna, who was convinced she needed him to close the time loop. Provided both deadpan humor and commentary on how physics do not work like that.
Queen Witch in Exile Ariyadna of Talos, one of whose versions actually managed to get her head out of her own ass to actually stop looping herself over. She had a personal crisis and ended cooperating with the rest of the party in a very tsundere way. Also she was the second half of the deadpan snarker duet.
And… well, the rest is spoilers.
