Anagut is the Jhand name for a vast time branch where the dominant human species in earth are the anagusi, who the rigasians call homo kesizmensis and to us seem to have traits we'd associate with neanderthals.

According to Derek most anagusi do not live in regular timelines anymore; instead they “ripped off pieces of firmament and made them into caves” that can navigate between timelines as we know them.
