A small little mountain village from which clark came from

Located in what another dimension may call the Carpathian mountain range, it is a isolated village with around 200 habitant

It is very close to the Rigasian-Mesogia border, with the local mountain being actually contested but due to the lack of importance, both country pretend that there isn't an overlapping claim.

It is compose of a small river flowing trough the town center which is dominate by a local church, 2 bar are also located in town, as well as a smith, tailor, bakery, butcher, a tavern which does have bedroom for the very occasional traveler.

Outside of down is mostly forested with a lumberyard downriver. There is upstream and a few pasture with mostly goat, but also some cow and chicken are raised.

The village is very old as it pre-exist both Voltshoria and Mesogia but was always so remote and unimportant, that very few event from the larger world had an impact for the village.

34 years before the bombing of Nuskom a sickness killed a quarter of the villager, mostly due to the lack of healthcare.

2 years before the bombing, during the great wars, a company of blackcap came and forcibly recruited all men of prime age none ever came back.

10 years after the bombing, a blizzard ravaged the region, leading to around a dozen death.

Due to the overhaul isolation of the village, local population tend to be a bit cold toward stranger tho a select few marchant are warmly welcome as they usually bring good that cannot be produce locally, like medicine.

In term of religion, they have their own set of god and tradition that include but is not limited to :

1. Perkunas : the lighting god of law.
2. Saulé : the goddess of the sun.
3. Laima : the goddess of fate, birth, marriage and death.
4. Maideina : fairy like goddess of the wood, tree and animal such as rabbit.
5. Dievas : chef of the good and primordial deity chief of light and prosperity and leader.

Politically they elect a mayor who run for life or can be remove at any point by a majority vote, the mayor are in charge of keeping track of the village stockpile and organise celebration or popular tribunal when the need arise.

They are very superstitious and any thing that is considered odd behavior are often put in margin of society, as they believe to be curse cause by angering the god.

They have their own language one that seem distantly related to some Mesogian language but are not mutually understandable. The name “Laville” is an exemple of said language as it simply mean “the town”

They do not have the concept of family name as the population is too low to have a strong need for such thing, in the few case where 2 individual share the same name, they will find a ways to describe themselves such as “son of”, “of the east side” or “from the wood” in Clark's case
