American Sea history fiction

Definitions

Lago Grande - the lake connected to the three rivers, including The Colorado River, Rio Grande, and Missouri
Central Sea - the new sea in middle of America
Natosi River - seasonal canal connecting Central Sea to the Atlantic Ocean
Pyrcus - the biggest island on the central sea

Great Zealand - New Zealand but bigger
Bean Island - the nearest big island to the east from south America
Carrot Island - the nearest big island to the west from Great Zealand

Events:

Altosi civil war - 184BC

Altosi Zupa that kept her land united under a military grasp has died and her state collapsed soon after resulting in a civil war, with main contenders being Copasi on west, Salisi on east, and Pozasi on south.

Rise of Craden - 147BC

Craden city - a city stationed along the Colorado River, started rapidly expanding thanks to riches gained by the expanding Maya-Pocha trade. Soon they expanded across entire Colorado River and Rio Grande as well as unoccupied Californian Islands.

Formation of the Chalis Alliance - 122BC

After tens of years of Polynesian colonisation into south Chile, tribes living there united to finally push them back.

Polynesians pushed out of South America - 113BC

9 years After Chalis alliance has formed, they managed to successfully push Polynesians out of South America. Soon, thanks to their improved boat design they invaded couple islands, including the Bean Island. Since there is no more Polynesian threat Chalis started to destabilise leading to minimal further expansion for a while.

Split of The Chalis Alliance - 110BC

Polynesia is no longer a threat and with that the alliance started falling apart to internal conflict once again. Breaking point was when Lord of Ansea - one of the most influential states in The Chalis Alliance - has been revealed to have an affair with a Polynesian woman. Other lords were outraged and quickly declared was on Ansea to seek revenge for the betrayal and their great riches compared to most of Chalis states.

The Chalis War - 110-82BC

Ansea and their allies (mostly minor puppets) performed extremely well in initial stages of the war and even setting up a naval blockade stopping trade with outside powers. Aman the Confused was so lost in his pride, he declared himself the rightful successor of Polynesia and Chalis Alliance. Even with that Calsia and Helis have put a lot of resistance and at some point, Aman realised it is just a resource drain and agreed to make peace so he can focus on expansion in Polynesia.

Further Altosi shattering - 98BC

The area is very unstable and constantly at war with each other leading to it shattering further.

First Pocha-Carden war - 79-73BC

After expanding across the Colorado River and Rio Grande, the last major river in area is Missouri controlled by Pocha. The war was won by Cardens, but Pocha remains on a small section of the river provoking the second Pocha-Carden war.

Pochas discovery of Natosi civilisations - 68BC

With the defeat in the south, Pocha has started exploring the sea next to them, leading to colonisation of Pycurs and eventual discovery of Copasi and next their neighbours.

First Maya-Carden war - 71-67BC

Expansion north has succeeded but Cardens couldn't go further north, instead they went south, to the Mayans. Even though the initial successes unfortunately Leader of Carden died during offensive on Zempoala leading to the Carden succession crisis and swiftly signing peace

Carden 2 Crowns Rule - 66BC

After Death of the ruler of Carden chaos has filled the state, both of his children wanted to rule. It took 3 months to get a fair Compromise, Opasi and Kalois will share power.

Second Maya-Carden war - 66-57BC

After reorganisation, still sensing Carden's weakness, Mayan cities stoke back and did significantly better than the last time.

Carden-Cante war - 34-30BC

Cante was the poorer region of Cante, because Cante got most of the trade. Population got increasingly upset and rulers desparate to keep their position, so idea arose: “if we push towards The Colorado River, we can fix everything”. Caten promised Pocha its lost territories if they help and the war has begun.
