This session was played on 27/10/2025. Clark, Gaia and Maelle await judgement in a malian prison, but the situation is totally upended when the fort is attacked and taken by rebel slaves.

Clark, Gaia, and Maelle dream of being squirrels and listening to Amanda tell them the story of how the Giver of Shapes made the Dream Queens and the Great Dream.

They wake up understandably confused and still in a small cell in a Malian fort, where they try to get their shit together and make plans for the future.

Their planning is interrupted by drumming, clamoring, and sounds of battle outside. They dispatch Amanda to check, and she eventually comes back to tell them that there are two factions of Malians engaged in battle for the fort. From what they can determine, they are now trapped in a cell in the middle of a slave uprising.

Eventually, their cell (and a couple others close) are breached by revolutionaries, that seems elated to see them, ask them if they are Rigasian, and seem a bit down when they deny it. They are then led to a Musian dude (Fulan ibn Fulan) that provides translation for both sides.

They learn that after the local settlements of escaped slaves and rebels learned of the Rigasian invaders, they decided that the new empire in town might be interested in bankrolling their efforts to fuck over the Malian holdings, and having learned that the fort had captured some Rigasians, they speed up their efforts to capture the fort itself.

Now free from their imprisonment, the party witnesses the results of the fort invasion and they are not pretty. Maelle is elated about the slaves rising up and taking the land for themselves, but Clark is mostly horrified about the killing, and decides to stay at the hospital (that has been untouched by both sides because it's considered Kesizman territory) and help with the wounded for the rest of the day.

Maelle and Gaia, now accompanied by Mauto and Derek, are led by Fulan to meet the revolution leader (Djama) who promises them protection in the land they control as long as they respect their laws, they then go to have a much needed rest.

Maelle ends shooting the breeze with Fulan, with whom she actually seems to have a lot in common: they are both queer folk from the rigasian timeline with an academic background who were fucked over by authority.

Gaia goes to find a safe room to contact AMANDA and ask her some additional questions about dreamwalking. AMANDA confirms that by its own nature, dreamwalking can result in a person's fears and wants actualizing in the real world, but this can be handled by taking control of the fears themselves.

As the day ends, Clark finds himself still in the hospital, having some food with a group of very tired medics that have been working the entire day to keep as much people as possible alive, then he gets interrupted by Gaia who comes to mostly needle at him by telling that Fulan might have the hots for him.

They both find Derek who is having a hard time understanding why servants would rise against those they serve. Their attempts to explain the situation to the Wolf do not seem to work well, but it thanks them regardless.

Trying to sleep, both Clark and Maelle are plagued by dreams: Clark dreams of being hunted by some kind of shape-shifting fox woman, and Maelle of being lost in the dark, with only a very small light in her hands to make up for it.

• It is a pretty agreeable day at the start of summer, and the light shines through the leaves on the tree you stand on today. Your little paws grasp a branch as strong as they can, and you look up at Amanda, as she prepares to tell you a story.

• Maelle: The fuck? What was that dream?
• Clark: Had a nightmare? I understand it's been a rough night.
• Gaia: Amanda, are there bigger, like much bigger squirrels out there?

• Maelle: I'll just lie about being a licensed lawyer or something. University of Wekkenfeld or whatever.

• Gaia: So we basically killed a infi—infla—flirta—inalt—uh.
• Clark: An asshole and a killeer.
• Gaia: A rigasian spy in the friendly place.

• There's a battle going on outside.
• Maelle: Oh no… Oh no no no… (starts banging at the cell door).
• Gaia: Wait if that's Rigasia maybe they can get us back home?
• Clark: Or they'll just torch the prison.

• Maelle: Fuck yeahhh slave revolt!

• One of the guys points at you and says “Rigasia?”.
• Maelle: No.
• And you crashed his hopes.
• Maelle: Still with you, though!

• Fulan: Heyy there, pale peoples from other world!

• Fulan: The moment that people here heard about Rigasia, they got very interested into making a deal with them because clearly Kesizma doesn't give a shit about the conditions of slaves in their territories.

• Fulan: Is that an anagusi war wolf?
• Gaia: It is!
• Fulan: You're petting an anagusi war wolf.
• Maelle: We named it Derek
• Fulan: You named an anagusi war wolf. Whatever you're smoking I want some.
• Clark: Yeah, it's great.
• Fulan gladly pets the giant murder machine.

• Fulan: You… want to actually participate on the slave rebellion.
• Maelle: Well, yeah. Fuck the monarchy. Down with oppression.

• Fulan: (looking at Clark leaving) Huh. Cute and dedicated. Is he single?
• Maelle: Uh, not sure. He's cool, though. Good friend. Also wait! So I'm not fucking weird for liking the same sex?
• Fulan: Uh, no?

• Gaia: I got a plate from the Riung into the real world.
• AMANDA: AND COOKIES. I STILL DON'T KNOW WHO RIUNG IS.
• AMANDA: (from very far away) YET.

• Fulan: See, my theory is that the Koteglia Leap is aliens.
• Maelle: Please, elaborate.

• Maelle: So what youre saying is that a different civilization might have contacted Rigasia and given them technology? Might be plausible… specially if you got arrested for it.
• Fulan: I mean, there was also the participating in many protests, and the belonging to the [communist party] and the being Musian by ethnicity, and the being queer as fuck… but I like to think it was because of the aliens.

• Derek: But… they won't be able to survive this fate. they are few, and the empire much bigger and better organized.
• Clark: Sometimes, people prefer death over eternal pain and suffering.
• Gaia: Yeah I wouldn't let anyone take my freedom in the first place.

Rose was at a friend's birthday.

In the first draft, Fulan was one of the party members.

Rebels in Kesizma's territory are looking for Rigasian support paralleling the work Iorena Sevel is doing in Rigasian territory looking for Kesizma's support.

The storyteller is a bit sad that the party did have the colonialist-liberal attitude of “maybe we can teach these people to be democratic” but then again, tearing off the remains of nasty ideologies you have been taught all your life is always an ongoing process.

Maelle was *incredibly* elated about finding an educated queer person she could actually have a conversation with. It was kind of adorable.

Gaia is a gremlin who tried to horrify Clark by telling that Fulan thought he was hot.
