This session was played on 04/10/2025. Clark, Gaia and Maelle help defend a Malian Fort against a wave of aberrations, have a number of personal revelations, and meet two Ariyadnas in the same day.

• [Gaia] is trying to talk to Riung by finding the White Tower. Problem is, this is a lot easier said than done. She has dreamed at this point of like a dozen different white towers: a giant white tree, possibly a dream of Minas Tirith, a white tower with a princess trapped on top and more…
• The weirdest thing she saw, just for a moment, was a gigantic white tower that seemed to reach up to the actual sun. Made of three towers braided into one. It was really, really weird, but also looked hazy and she woke from that dream instantly and tired as if she had run a marathon.

• Clark takes a look at the dress, and was about to put it away but then a little bulb lights up in his head: why not take it? It looks pretty, and possibly valuable, and is pretty cute, yeah better grab it for now…

• Maelle is suddenly jumpscared by a hand placed on their shoulder.
• Maelle: Gah fuck!
• Fulan: Oookay, memo to myself: do not try to make contact without prior warning. But important: did you hear the sound of a portal right now?

• Gaia: Crabs followed us?
• Maelle: Lizards instead.

• Clark and Gaia reach the gate where the bowmen are getting ready and a bit scared of shooting the lizard.
• Gaia decides to take things steady so she gets into position sniper style, using part of the palisade to have a place to hold he rifle and taking her time to shoot.
• Clark goes from running to rising his rifle to his face, shoots, and one of the lizards just dies, and falls behind the cart.
• And a couple seconds after that, the growths on the back of the lizard fucking explode.

• Maelle jumps in and manages to calm one of the horses, but the other will not calm. It's super scared. It's frenzying. It's about to trample Maelle.
• And then there's a high-pitched scream and the horse is floating.
• Maelle: What the fuck?
• As Maelle steps back they see a little kid, her hands pointing at the horse and trembling. She can't be older than eight.
• Maelle: T—thank you kid!
• A huge shadow looms over the little girl and she shrinks on herself. The huge dude with the scimitar hits the kid over the head and whispers-screams something at her, then looks at Maelle, his eyes very angry and distrustful.
• Maelle: Oi!

• As the lizards are climbing the wall and jumping in, people scream in terror, and then Clark says “Fuck this” and places both hands in the wall, and for a moment it looks like the sun is less bright.
• The entirety of the fort feels colder, and starting from Clark, ice propagates like crazed frost patterns over the wall several lizards that were climbing lose their footing and fall to the ground outside.

• Maelle runs at the closest lizard, that's standing on the middle of the main road, and gets ready to cut it. They actually notice the lizard looking at them and it's throat swelling. They are not sure if what's coming out it a burp, a scream, or a fire belch, but they are sure they don't want to feel it and so they slide under the thing and slash at its front legs.
• And as they slide, they see that the lizard belches a cloud of whitish smoke that look and smells very much not good.

• [The spearmen] seem to be kinda paralyzed, and I don't mean the cute RPG paralysis, I mean IRL paralysis where you can stop breathing and have a heart attack.

• Clark is very focused on the ice magic, he doesn't even notice the changes that are occurring: there's the usual fem one, where his(?) breasts are slowly growing, but also something else, where it used to slightly itch on top of his head, something started growing, and growing, until his hat fell off to reveal a pair of white fox-like ears.

• Ariyadna says “Anyway, I'm going to relieve some fucking stress, talk to you later” and charges yet another lizard leaving everyone inside the fort incredibly confused because apparently shonen is real now.

• This pale looking motherfucker with white fox ears runs through the main road, passes next to the cart where Baby Ariyadna and Scimitar Dude are, which earns him a look from the dude, and goes to hide in the room.
• And then the nonbinary sword lesbian themself runs behind him, with the sword in hand.

• Maelle: Hey, so… has everything been alright recently Kinda been noticing that you're… off
• Clark: No, it feels like I'm losing sight of who I am.
• Maelle: Iiii can get that. A lot.

• Maelle: I was always supposed to be a woman in the eyes of my mother and father but after leaving my life behind and meeting him he…
• Maelle: I felt like I was wrong for feeling that way.
• Maelle: If you feel comfortable and natural in this form then you should embrace it.
• Maelle: Those arr my thoughts at least.

• Clark: (still trying to keep their hat over their new ears) What's a kitsune?

• Maelle: Hey if you want I can give you some extra dresses from my wardrobe when we get back to Zwosta.

• Gaia shows Clark and Maelle her drawing of a fox-eared clark.
• Clark: That… looks cute…

• Maelle: Hey real quick Clark, how much do you like wine?
• Clark: I don't really drink… though it might be a good day to start.

• Ariyadna: Okay, Ice Cold: I've been accused of freezing a wall, and we both know it was not me, so will you please give an explanation so they get off my dick?

• Ariyadna: Awesome. Glad that's over. And now I have to meet fate. Today I meet my younger self, and our fucking ex-husband.
• Maelle: I'm sorry what. You're a boy kisser?
• Ariyadna: Wish I had been given a boy instead of an old dude. Later.

• Maelle: How easily could I kill that old fucking bitch you think? Dating a goddamn child…
• Clark: I wouldn't mind seeing that.
• Gaia: I think Ariyadna will kill him before we get an opportunity.

Rose climbed a small mountain.

Derek managed to sleep through the entire session. The poor wolf needed a lot of rest.

The storyteller was actually worried about the child Ariyadna/Jaled dynamic triggering some of the players, but they didn't have any problems with it. I mean, they *do* have huge problems and are planning to kill Jaled or get him dead, but no one had a panic attack or a PTSD episode.

On the other hand, the storyteller did have a freakout emself because ei kept accidentally misgendering Maelle (the character, not the player) when ei got too deep into narrating.

Have we mentioned that Looper Ariyadna has a very high manipulation skill? after five minutes of conversation the party was ready to fuck up Jaled without even a prompting. She didn't even roll for it.
