Session 3
This session was played on 22/07/2025. Inmediately after the previous one, Clark] and [[pc:gaia_dynko|Gaia tried to save the frozen almost-corpse of Zack without confessing anything problematic.
Plot
Inmediately after Session 2, Clark and Gaia try to decide what to do with the frozen body of Zach. While Clark is trying to think of something, Gaia tries the Glove herself, and becomes suddenly hyperaware of every single potentially supernatural event, then she looks at the ruins of Nuskom and feels herself reviving the explosion caused by the Bombing. Clark has to help her to remove the glove.
They decide to build a makeshift stretcher and retrace their steps to the zone entrance, then try to convince the military, military doctors, and military scientists that he was like that when they found him. One of the military scientists does some measurements and determines that it's very possible that the body is permanently frozen somehow, unable to thaw.
Returning to the staging ground they meet with Iorena in the middle of her lunch, and try to sell the story to her. She does not entirely buy it, but assumes they have reasons to keep some of the things quiet and offers them a chance to put their stories straight.
In the mess tent, while they try to have lunch, they are approached by a rigasian officer who is pulling around a hunter, recognized by Clark as one of the ones who had tried to beat Zach, and who looks now beaten himself. The officer asks Clark for information about Zach, who is supposed to be a witness in an investigarion; Clark tells them they found him inside the zone, frozen.
Clark and Gaia drive back to Zwosta (without telling Iorena they are taking her truck) and have the most stilted conversation while driving. On Zwosta, Gaia goes to her hideout (the Pole Land) to hide the Glove, while Clark goes to his own home to restock and replace the bear trap that is now frozen to zach's foot.
Back in the Hunter Guild they find Stray Pyotr who is desperately searching for Iorena (believing her to have come back since her truck is parked inside), to tell her the news the television has been blasting for the last ten minutes.

Quotes
- Gaia: Do you think [the corpse] would float in water?
- Clark: Probably, but then we wouldn't find it anymore.
- Gaia: Can't we just like float on something down the river?
- Clark: That's just dangerous, also I doubt this stream conveniently leads to the hospital
- Gaia: It leads to the lake— oh wait, lake is toxic now.
- You pit the glove, and when you do, you stop hearing what Clark is saying, because you see and hear so much more. Clark is not there; he's instead a strange shape made of cold wind and frost. There a strange lines of wind that start where he used the glove and spread through the air and ground.
- And then you see amanda, and you have to look up, because she's HUGE, and not exactly a physical thing anymore. More like part of the countryside on the rough shape of a squirrel, with eyes that extend the entirety of the horizon. You follow those eyes and see the ruins of Nuskom…
- And you SCREAM.
- Gaia: Give [the glove] back.
- Clark: Suit yourself, that thing can only bring suffering.
- Gaia: Oh… thanks, I was like sure you would destroy it or hide it…
- Clark: Trying to destroy it would probably cause it to explode, or release a thousand wasps.
- Gaia: We can even tell them that we found Victor's hat.
- Clark: Wait, you got that? Why?
- Gaia: I almost killed someone that's wanted by everyone, I think I deserve the trophy. Trophies are cool.
- One of the dusdes offers to take Gaia's place carrying the stretcher and “let the girl have a rest”
- Gaia: Thank you, if you borrow me your gun I can help escorting.
- You shortcircuited his casual sexism so his pride is scratched. But he gets a look from the scarred dude and does lend you his gun.
- Iorena: You are here very early; what went wrong?
- Gaia: So we went to the area you told us the lynx was last seen but instead of lynx we found a frozen girl and we decided it would be best if we transported her to a safe place
- Iorena: (slightly panicked) Frozen how? (panicked) Frozen in time? (holding the panic inside) In the Outer Zone?
- Iorena: Do you need more time to get your story in order? Because I'm still mid-lunch.
Trivia
Rose had to excuse herself again, this time for family obligations. Nothing else needs to be said.
The scene in which a rigasian army officer pulled along a hunter who had been victim of military brutality at the hands of the former's men was triggering for Gaia's player and we stopped the game for a bit to hash out what was good and what wasn't.
